Monday: The students will review lessons 5-1 through 5-4. The students will then represent numbers using a variety of equivalent forms (i.e., mixed numbers, fractions, decimals, percents, and integers. 7.1.spi.3

Homework: pg.219(39-44)

Tuesday: The students will represent numbers using a variety of equivalent forms (i.e., mixed numbers, fractions, decimals, percents, and integers. 7.1.spi.3 They will write percents as decimals and decimals as percents. They will work with a partner to complete the exercises on pg. 222.

Homework: pg. 223(38-43)

Wednesday: The students will represent numbers using a variety of equivalent forms (i.e., mixed numbers, fractions, decimals, percents, and integers. 7.1.spi.3 Find the least common multiple of two or more numbers.

Homework: None

Thursday: The students will represent numbers using a variety of equivalent forms(i.e., mixed numbers, fractions, decimals, percents, and integers. 7.1.spi.3 Find the least common multiple of two or more numbers. The students will compare rational numbers using the appropriate symbol (<,>,=). 7.1.spi.4

Homework: pg.230(39-42)

Friday: The students will review for Chapter 5’s test on Wednesday.

Monday: The students will attend a seminar with the APEX teacher.

Tuesday:  The students will finish the test. Projects due today.

Wednesday: The students will present their projects.

Thursday:The students will use estimation strategies to select a reasonable solution to a computation involving rational numbers. 7.1.spi.9  The students will solve problems using the percent equation.  The students will make predictions based on data. 7.5.spi.5  The students will work together to solve activites on page. 346.
