Mrs. Tucker’s Math Classes

Monday:  The students will construct and interpret stem and leaf plots.  The class will discuss stem and leaf plots and their use.  The students will complete several examples with a partner. 7.5.spi.7 

Homework: pg. 78(15-18)

Tuesday:  The students will review stem and leaf plots.  The students will then connect data sets and their graphical representation using box and whisker plots. 7.5.spi.7

Homework: pg.83(10-14)

Wednesday:  The students will connect data sets and their graphical representation with box and whisker plots, bar graphs, and histograms. 7.5.spi.7  The class will complete the Guided Practice on pg. 87.

Homework: pg.89 (Standardized Test Practice)

Thursday:  The students will interpret bar and line graphs to answer questions and solve real-world problems. 7.5.spi.1  The students will work with groups to complete the Study Guide and Review for the Chapter Test on Friday.

Homework: Study for Chapter Test

Friday:  The students will take a test over Chapter 2.

Math(3rd)

Monday:  The students will represent mathematical statements and real-world situations using symbols. 7.2.spi.5  The students will write verbal phrases and sentences as simple algebraic expressions and equations.

Homework: pg. 170( Mid-Chapter Practice Test)

Tuesday:  The students will identify whole numbers that satisfy a given one-variable linear inequality. 7.2.spi.9  The students will also apply function rules 7.2.spi.2

Homework: pg.180(18-25)

Wednesday: The students will find the slope of a line.   The students will take a practice test for Chapter 4. 

Homework: Review Chapter 4

Thursday:  The students will take a test over all concepts learned this year.

Homework:  None

Friday:  The students will perform operations with fractions.
